There are many advantages that the ESOP offers to the companies and the employees as a whole. When a research was conducted to check the benefits and the productivity or the relationship between the employee productivity and the company, it was fond that majority of the companies that offer these plans run much more faster and produce much more profits than those companies that do not.
The companies that offer employee stock ownership plans basically are offering the employees to participate to some extent in the decision making as well. There are certain rights that the stock holders of the company have through which they can have dividends and play an important role in making the rules of the company. Therefore, the companies can increase the productivity level if they operate the stock ownership plans of the employees. Moreover, the dividends offered as return on share is also tax deductible.
